Richard Wolper
Richard Wolper is a successful entrepreneur and developer known for his exceptional work in the Park City, Utah area. He founded Mark 25 Development and Group of Companies, SLC, established in 2011 to consolidate his twelve companies. Since then, Wolper has been involved in several remarkable projects, including the Residences at Blackstone, a sold-out development that offered 2-bedroom ski condos in the Canyons Resort. He has also been involved in the Black Rock Mountain Resort, a $300 million development that includes an NHL regulation-sized hockey arena. It is ideal for the Salt Lake City/Park City Olympic bid in 2030 or 2034. Wolper has also recently started developing Black Rock Estates, offering single-family home and townhome sites with stunning views of the Jordanelle Reservoir, the Uinta Mountains, Deer Valley, and Mt. Timpanogas. He is also working on Fiddlers Canyon Hills, a planned development for 331 townhomes and multifamily housing.
Apart from his work, Wolper enjoys supporting his community through his philanthropic endeavours. He partnered with Paul Taylor, a renowned hockey coach, to found the Utah Outliers, an elite Tier II junior hockey club that recruits talented players worldwide. Wolper manages and sponsors the team, which provides players with opportunities to play, get into good colleges and universities, and pursue pro hockey careers. Additionally, Wolper donates to the local Jewish Chabad, the Park City Disability Center, and other charities. He enjoys playing golf, one of his favourite hobbies when he has free time.
